Mohonk Mountain House Wedding - Hudson Valley Wedding Venue

There were two major players at work during Corinne & Ryan’s Mohonk Mountain House wedding. The first being that fog. It completely transformed the look and feel of their Hudson Valley wedding and even more so, the mood. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph foggy weddings before and every time the weather comes together to create this masterpiece of mood, it helps elevate the entire day. It was a wet one, on and off, but nature cooperated with us at the right times, including their ceremony. With a few short pauses to wait out the weather throughout the day, we were able to work with it and create some special images. This Hudson Valley wedding venue is something special and really was elevated thanks to the fog and atmosphere.

Corinne & Ryan have been together for quite some time so whenever that’s the case, emotions usually run high. Their wedding was no exception. Happy tears on top of happy tears all day long. Just the way I like it. And that fog decided to stick around well into the night, even transforming their reception and helping make the lighting sing. Oh, that second major player? Pee-wee Herman. That makes absolutely zero sense right now, but will at the end of this post. Talk about a teaser to make you stick around. Get to it.
