Let’s step back a few decades. Not really but kind of, okay? Amelia & Ari’s Lyndhurst Castle wedding may have happened recently but it had all the makings of a vintage inspired wedding of the mid-1900’s. If anything vintage themed is your style, this wedding will hit the spot. We began the day with Amelia’s getting ready at Castle Hotel then made our way over to Lyndhurst Castle sitting just beyond the Hudson River. Yeah, two castles, one wedding. Castleous Maximous.
From Amelia’s dress to the horse-drawn carriage to the castle to the rose garden ceremony, it was a vintage lovers dream. Their Tarrytown wedding was classic in every sense of the word. It’s always interesting to see how much each detail of a wedding plays off of each other. Her hairstyle played off of the dress which worked perfectly with her floral bouquet. Ari’s classic tuxedo was a spot on mid-century look. Those simple things lend itself to everything else in the day which instantly even made the rose garden feel like we stepped back in time. They had a clear vision and pulled it off to perfection. This was a fun one to photograph.
