Simone & John’s Inn at Fernbrook Farms wedding took place on a perfect summer’s day. From the minute I arrived, I knew this would be a special wedding day for these two. I was immediately struck by the beautiful property their New Jersey wedding venue sat on and knew we’d have to adventure around much of it for some killer images. Take the sprawling sunflower fields for example. Oh, and the perfect wooden fencing. Let’s also not forget about the huge barn structures so perfectly made for a bridal party. I could go on and on but you get the point.
I was lucky to be a part of this one. Simone’s dress was handmade by one of her guests who just so happens to be a clothing designer herself. I’m pretty sure they’d sell out of this design if it were in stores. John put his graphic design background to use with some amazing, self-designed portraiture around the property to add that personal touch. Their ceremony was led by a Buddhist Monk, which for me was a first but one of the best things about shooting weddings. I love being introduced to different traditions and backgrounds so it was such a unique ceremony to witness. Here’s Simone & John’s New Jersey wedding story.
