Bedford Post Inn - Westchester Wedding Photographer

So, Westchester in the fall. High fives all around. It was amazing to me how quickly Julia & Nick’s wedding came together. From first contact to their wedding day, it was under 4 weeks and even with their short time to plan, they really made the most of their Bedford Post Inn wedding and the beautiful fall season. That could be a record in the world of speed wedding-ing. I love when wedding decors compliments the environment as if it is all one, huge space. Their Westchester wedding was filled with autumn details that could not have fit that scenery any better so it was a Fall celebration through and through.

I’m always interested in the joining of two families at weddings when each side brings something different to the mix. This time, it was Nick’s family from Westchester having a wedding so close to home and Julia’s family traveling in from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Two families from completely different backgrounds joining as one. It’s a wonderful thing to witness unfold. Traditions come together. Families come together. And everyone is exactly where they are supposed to be in that very moment. You have to love it and respect it. The power of weddings is a special thing.
