Arnold House Wedding
Arnold House Wedding in Livingston Manor, New York
The wonderful thing about photographing weddings is that each & every day is entirely unique. So much of that variety is simply based on the couple alone & their attitude towards the day. Kim & Tom are in the upper echelon of couples who were able to soak up every minute, being entirely present in the moments & appreciating each aspect of their wedding as the day went on.
Their love is palpable & it made for some great opportunities to capture candid, meaningful moments. We also had a few unique circumstances that they fully embraced which elevated their day & coverage. Towards the end of cocktail hour, an epic storm quickly moved in on the Arnold House & at my suggestion took a few minutes to capture the incredible light & clouds. The wind began to swirl & the sky started to look like it would open up any second. Still, they fell into a few portraits & were handsomely rewarded. Fast forward to the end of their reception & Tom had a surprise up his sleeve. Leading Kim outside into the Catskill darkness, one of the most epic firework shows began lighting up the night sky. It was an exclamation point at the end of a perfect day.
