So, in not-breaking-news, Fall is really, really beautiful. After enduring a hot summer, the temperatures are perfect and the changing leaves give us a dramatically different view of the world along the east coast. Luckily, being Westchester wedding photographers, this color change is on full display all over the region, which is why there’s no coincidence in most couples wanting to take advantage of the season for their engagement photoshoots. You’ll never get any pushback from me because look.
I met up with Kim and Tom at one of my favorite places to explore, Bear Mountain at what must have been the peak day in fall foliage. The trees exploded in hues or yellow and orange making it feel like we just stepped into a Bob Ross masterpiece. And with every touch of a breeze, leaves rained down all around us from the towering canopy. This was the fakest a real shoot ever felt to me. In a good way. The images we left with perfectly embodied what I truly believe engagement sessions should be about. Adventuring around with your favorite person and leaving with some great pictures to show for it. Given the options surrounding us as Westchester wedding photographers, I see no reason not to come away with that every single time.
