Long Island Photographers - Engagement Photoshoot

If there’s one thing I’ve learned after doing a lot of travel, it’s just how lush and green Long Island is. Growing up here, I guess it’s something I took for granted because it was so normal. After spending a lot of time scouting for new locations to do engagement photoshoots, I’ve been able to put together a nice list of areas that take advantage of this wonderful greenery around us. Being Long Island photographers means that although the land is flat, searching for other characteristics and traits of locations can add that character and oomph to a spot. Like this majestic pine forest.

I met up with Kelsey & Nick at one of these aforementioned hidden gems. I love introducing couples to this spot because it’s pretty awe-inspiring the first or hundredth time you see it, like it is for me. That feeling of “how does this exist?” is my favorite feeling when shooting photos. It really churns up inspiration and excitement every single time and strokes that feeling of adventure.
