Catskills Engagement Photographer - Waterfall Engagement Session

I’ve said it time and time again. Being a Catskills engagement photographer is a rough job. How was I supposed to make this waterfall engagement session even look good? I feel lucky I was able to produce some usable images from this location for Jess & Andy. Joking aside, this is a perfect example of why I feel so fortunate to document so many Catskills weddings year after year. Having access to all of these locations to make meaningful and beautiful engagement photos is everything.

Just like most Catskills engagement sessions, the best views are not the easiest to get to, but effort surely pays off. I always admire couples who are will to go that extra mile to get the most out of their sessions. That extra bit of adventure is always good for a huge payoff, which is something I learned early on as a Catskills engagement photographer. Jess and Andy may have put in the most amount of that extra work out of any couple I’ve a shoot for in the Catskills so far. As you’ll see below, there was lots of hiking, lots of climbing, water traversing and careful balancing to get some of these incredible angles. Huge props to the two of them for bringing that sense of adventure and following through on our big plans.
